The Long-Awaited Music Recap

Lil Uzi Vert's Eternal Atake album cover (image from Wikipedia).

It has certainly been a while since I have written about new music through this platform, and there are far too many reviews I have sadly missed out on due to COVID. I am secretly hoping for some dry Thursday nights so that I can return to those albums and give them the full length reviews that they deserve. In lieu of pinpointing one or two albums that have been released in the past half year, I will just compile a list of albums and singles that I have enjoyed to enhance your playlist in case you missed anything that I have listed. Without further filler, here is what I have curated from the past six months:

Eternal Atake (Deluxe) by Lil Uzi Vert, A Written Testimony by Jay Electronica, Heaven or Hell by Don Toliver, Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa, Colehearted Forever by Relly Cole, After Hours by The Weeknd, Pray for Paris by Westside Gunn, Slime & B by Young Thug and Chris Brown, Good Intentions by NAV, High Off Life by Future, I’m Gone by iann dior, Modus Vivendi by 070 Shake, No Pressure by Logic, WUNNA (Deluxe) by Gunna, F*CK LOVE by The Kid LAROI, The Light Pack EP by Joey Bada$$, Limbo by Amine, What Could Possibly Go Wrong by Dominic Fike, “Baguetti” by Smino and JID, “The Climb Back” by J. Cole, “Cafeteria” by Don Toliver and CHASE B, “Over Your Head” by Future and Lil Uzi Vert and “Chemicals” by SG Lewis.

If there are weak releases over the next couple of weeks, I will be giving in-depth reviews of Eternal Atake by Lil Uzi Vert and Limbo by Amine as those are probably my two favorite releases since we were hit with the virus. As always, please email me for suggestions on albums you would like me to review at halperi_davi@bentley.edu.
