Student Entrepreneurs: Christian Loparnos

Ever since he was young, first-year student Christian Loparnos had interest and skill in entrepreneurship. From selling bracelets in grade school, to now starting up his brand in recent months, entrepreneurship is simply in Christian’s nature.

Arriving at Bentley sparked Christian’s desire to transform his business endeavors into reality, and the process began with a great product. Inspired by the affluent women and Brazilian culture in his life, he now sells women’s fitness wear through his own line, Loparnos Fitness.

To draw light to his inspiration, Christian explains a story about his mom. When in a public setting running errands or hitting the gym, women would complement his mom’s outfit and ask which site to get them from. He further clarifies that this line of fitness wear is brazilian-inspired, just like those his mom wears. For those who are unsure of the difference, Christian clarifies that this makes his tighter and more supportive fit setting his product apart from other domestic brands.

Christian has been hard at work with his marketing efforts. He explains since recently, getting the word out through friends and family has been effective. But since the start up fair, his business endeavors have been taking off, and he is looking forward to networking and expanding.

Loparnos Fitnessis active on campus, and if you are looking to support Christian, you can reach out to his instagram through direct message. (@cloparnosfitness)
