Saying Goodbye to a Bentley Legend:A Farewell Party for Donovan Minzie

(Left to Right: John Giaquinto ’23, Robert Williams ’25, Anthony Milluzzo ’22, and Donovan Minzie)

The Bentley Maintenance team works incredibly hard to make sure that our school is kept in spectacular shape. However, one man in particular has repeatedly gone above and beyond what is required; Donovan Minzie. Donovan has been absolutely crucial to helping many student organizations on campus, including the Bentley Catholic Association. Donovan helped set up for all of the masses and made sure that every event held by the BCA went as smoothly as possible. When the President of the Bentley Catholic Association, John Giaquinto ’21, and The Bible Study Coordinator, Robert “Bobby” Williams ’25, heard that Donovan was leaving Bentley, they knew they had to do something special for him. Prior to the Sunday February 26th mass, John and Bobby went got Donovan a beautifully crafted cake, in addition to printing and framing a picture of them, Anthony Milluzzo ‘21, and Donovan as a going away gift. The party was held after Mass, with the Mass attendees staying to thank Donovan for all of his hard work throughout the years. It was an outpouring of positivity and faith, and Donovan was so happy to be there with everyone. We wish Donovan nothing but good luck and happiness in his future, and we cannot thank him enough for everything that he has down for our Bentley Community.
