Bentley Interfaith Day of Service!

Upcoming on March 3rd is an event you won’t want to miss! The Spiritual Life Center is holding its fifth annual Interfaith Day of Service. The whole day revolves around giving back to the communities around us and developing strong relationships between different faith organizations. In addition to building up our value and appreciation for one another, the overall goal is to package 15,000 meals, in just 2 hours, to give to those in need. Last year, the meals were distributed to those that were suffering from hunger due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, for this year, the 15,000 meals will be sent to both food pantries in Waltham, and to Ukraine, for people affected by the war. Last year when I attended, it was such a wonderful thing to see so many people working together to achieve such a worthwhile goal. The positivity that filled the room as everyone worked is something well worth experiencing. This year I have the extraordinary honor of working as an event manager for the day, and it has been incredible to see how much work goes into setting up this event. Dr. Rev. Robin Olson and all the Spiritual Life leaders on campus deserve to be recognized for all of their hard work. The dedication and enthusiasm that they show for both the Interfaith Day of Service, and every other event is truly inspiring.
