Bentley Falcons Return to "Campus"

On the last Monday in August, Bentley University students did what they always do, they started their fall semester courses. But this is no normal fall semester.

Some students will not be returning to campus, opting instead to join their classmates via Zoom and continue their semester remotely. For those who did decide to return to campus, much has changed since they departed in March. Students utilizing campus facilities are required to be tested weekly for COVID-19. Capacities in classrooms, common areas, dining halls and other campus spaces have been reduced in order to allow for social distancing between students. Classes are either conducted online, or in hybrid fashion, where some students attend class with their professor and others attend online. Face coverings are required when students leave their residence halls, as are wristbands, to indicate that students have been tested in the past week for COVID-19. Plexiglass barriers and social distancing markers have been installed throughout campus to further protect students from the novel coronavirus.

The fall 2020 semester at Bentley will be an unusual one to say the least...
