Apple Music Sponsors Superbowl Halftime Show

This year’s halftime performance will be by Rihanna at State Farm Stadium on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Rihanna has been a successful superstar for over a decade. She has won nine Grammy awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, six Guinness World Records, 13 American Music Awards, and 14 top hits on Billboard’s Top 100. Rihanna has been successful and has

achieved a lot throughout her career, and in 2020 the 'Good Girl Gone Bad' was on Forbes’ list of the richest self-made women. She has a large fanbase with 103 million Facebook followers, 108 million Twitter followers, and around 70 million monthly listeners on Spotify. With such a large fanbase, many are looking forward to her Superbowl performance.

This year, Apple Music is sponsoring the Halftime Show for the first time. In late January, Apple Music offered Rihanna’s music with Spatial Audio in Dolby Atmos. Spatial Audio brings a theater-like sound to what you are listening to, so it sounds and feels like the noise is coming from all around you. Rihanna’s catalog is on Apple Music and is available with Apple Music Sing. This new feature allows the user to sing along with the song they are listening to easily.

Apple has many events leading up to the day to promote the Superbowl performance. One of those is “Halftime Hype Radio,” a multi-part series reflecting on some of the greatest Superbowl performances, and another series titled “Rihanna’s Revisited Radio,” which will discuss her cultural impact.

Additionally, Apple Music is releasing 32 playlists featuring the top songs NFL teams listen to most often. Leading up to the performance, Apple will also be releasing exclusive details and sneak peeks on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter!
